When I was growing up, there was a lot of pressure on young people to choose a particular path to success. This path involved getting good grades, attaining a college degree, finding a good corporate job, and climbing the ladder until you reached this mysterious place called ‘success.’
Early in my corporate career, I discovered that this path to success demands all of your time, energy, and devotion – but gives very little in return. At this point, Jack and I redefined what success meant to us – much to the horror of most of our friends and family. We decided that we were ready to walk away from all our preconceived ideas about success and build a life based on four fundamental freedoms – cash, time, relationships, and purpose.
We spent a lot of time researching every imaginable investment strategy and decided that real estate was the best vehicle to achieve our new idea of success. We also discovered that house flipping is expensive, labor-intensive, and incredibly competitive.
Our dream meant so much to us that we refused to give up – and discovered that there was an asset class in real estate that could produce consistent cash flow, but without taking all of our time and energy to flip, LAND.
This realization transformed our lives and has put us on a path to success, not even we could have imagined.
As exhilarating as this journey has been, the most meaningful and life-changing part has been sharing our prosperity with others.

Redefining What Success Means
What does success look like?
Laurie Maines asked herself this question when she walked away from a 32-year long career as an executive in the manufacturing industry. Having risen to the ranks of President of her company, Laurie has undeniably achieved success in her career. However, she always knew that she was building somebody else’s dream at the mercy of her employer.
Laurie and her husband, therefore, decided that it was time for them to build their own business on their own terms and set their sights on real estate investing.
As a highly experienced business professional, Lauri understands the critical role education plays in achieving success in any business venture. She, therefore, invested over $150k trying to find the right training course to facilitate her real estate investing business – but she did not see much success.
“In that first year, we flipped a few properties. However, I don’t count working my butt off for months – including doing some physical labor myself – and ending up with a few bucks in my pocket as success.”

Fortunately, Laurie attended a REIA event in her area and heard Jack Bosch presenting the Land Profit Generator. She instantly realized that she had found what she was looking for and her journey to becoming a successful real estate investor began.
